What to expect, honestly
- This is an AI model, not a retoucher. It is strong on fading, dust, scratches and creases, weaker on large missing areas.
- Faces are checked automatically to stay the same person. If the check fails, the preview is not offered for sale.
- Output resolution is set by the model, usually 1 to 2 megapixels. Good for screens, cards and small prints.
- If a paid result is unusable, we refund it. No questions, within 7 days.
Questions
- What kind of photos work best?
- Scans or straight-on phone photos of prints with faces that are still recognizable. Fading, scratches, dust, creases and small tears are handled well. Very heavy damage, missing faces or extreme blur may fail our quality check, and then there is nothing to pay.
- Is colorizing extra?
- No. Turn it on or off for each photo at the same price.
- Is this done by a person?
- No. The restoration is produced by an AI image model and reviewed by an automated check for preserved faces and removed damage. There is no human retouching.
- What do I receive?
- The restored image at the resolution the model produces (typically 1 to 2 megapixels, suitable for a 5x7 inch print). Previews are smaller and watermarked.
- What happens to my photo?
- It is stored privately and reachable only through your private link. Links stop working and records are deleted after 30 days. We never use your photos for anything else.
- What if the paid result is unusable?
- Tell us within 7 days and we refund that photo. See Terms and refunds.
